CHAPLAIN FOR USC'S FOOTBALL TEAM
Adrian Despres became a Christian while playing football for Furman University ( Greenville , SC ). As a respected student, athlete, and peer, Adrian began sharing his faith with others as he used his God-given public speaking abilities. He lives in Columbia , South Carolina , with his wife, Lisa, and their children, Rachel, Branson, Kaitlyn, and Benjamin.
Join us for an evening of Christian comradery with fellow hunters. You are encouraged to wear your camo. hunting clothes. A wildlife meal will be provided. Just like God's grace everything is FREE.
PLEASE NOTE: Door prizes will be given away again this year. If you would like to donate a door prize, know someone who would, or would like to volunteer to help in any way, please see Ray Frady or call him at 798-4809.

ﾠThe Fall Festival is not too far away. Please give careful thought and consideration regarding donations for our auction. I will be preparing letters for potential donors outlining the purpose of Trinity's Fall Festival and what we hope to accomplish from it. In the meantime, please ask for donations from businesses you go to often. If you would like a letter prepared for you to help you ask for donations, please let me know. After the event is over, I will prepare a letter of gratitude which they will be able to use for a tax deduction. Let's make this year's auction exciting!
Additionally, there is a list of activities for this year's festival located on the Gathering Area table. There are some changes you may want to be aware of. Thank you for your support.

Join the M & M's on Saturday, September 11, for a fun filled day. They will meet in the Gunter Circle Parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and travel to Hendersonville , NC , visit the Farmer's Market and have lunch at Caf￩ on the Veranda at A Day In the Country.
After lunch, they will travel to the Flat Rock Playhouse for the 2 p.m. showing of The 39 Steps, from the novel by John Buchan and the movie of Alfred Hitchcock. It is Broadway's longest-running comedy thriller! Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python, and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! The cast of four, featuring Flat Rock Playhouse's own Scott Treadway, plays over 150 characters in this story about an ordinary man on an extraordinary adventure. The 39 Steps contains every single scene from the award-winning movie, including the first theatrical bi-place crash ever staged.
They will return to Trinity around 7 - 7:30 p.m. Don't miss this opportunity! The tickets for the play are $34.00 and you will be responsible for your lunch. A sign-up sheet will be located on the Gathering Area table.

United Methodist Men meeting
The United Methodist Men meet at Trinity on Sunday, September 12, at 8:30 a.m. for their monthly breakfast. All men are invited to join them for this time of fellowship.

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS
Wonderful Wednesdays will begin on September 15! The schedule will be: meal beginning between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m., Bible Study and activities at 6:15 p.m. and Choir Practice at 7:00 p.m. Begin reading the book of Ephesians for the study. We will be feeding mind, body and soul!
United Methodist Women's Thirty Eighth Annual Meet
Make plans to attend the Columbia District United Methodist Women's Thirty Eighth Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 18, at Chapin United Methodist Church. Reverend Mandy Taylor Young will be the Guest Speaker. The program is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with lunch afterward.
This is a great time to greet other United Methodist Women from this area, to honor our Woman of the Year, to get books from the Reading Room exhibit, and to find out what's going on in Mission . We'll meet in the Gunter Circle parking lot and leave Trinity at 8:10 a.m. Forms are on the table in the Gathering Area. You may send in your registration, or give it to Marilyn Lloyd to send. Late Registration is $15.00.

Fall is almost here... school has started... and High School football and bands are showing their stuff on Friday nights. Vacations are over for most people, except for Linda and me, were taking ours beginning September 5th after worship service until September 12th. [continue...]
