Killingsworth -- a home for women recovering from various life distresses

It is a safe place which supports personal development: recovery habits, mental and physical health habits, employment and identity. The dedicated staff and volunteers foster an environment of encouragement and hope, helping women rediscover their strengths and potential.

Recovery at Killingsworth means each resident has requirements related to 12-step meeting attendance, working with a sponsor, and working the 12 steps of recovery. These requirements, practiced faithfully, will become habits. Through consistent participation and support, residents gain valuable tools for lifelong recovery and personal growth.

There is a fund-raising Gala scheduled for November 13, 2025, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Seawells Restaurant in Columbia. Highlights are: Gourmet Meal – Silent Auction– Live Music – Special Guest Speaker.
