Pastor
David W. Daypastor@trinityumcwc.org
Pastor David came to Trinity in June of 2001 and has been serving in the pastorate for nearly 20 years. Pastor David grew up in the Pelion UMC and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in March of 1980. Shortly there afterwards, he met his beloved wife Annie and they have been partners in ministry since May 9, 1981. They have three children, Elizabeth, Jonathan and Joshua, all of which are actively involved in our church. Pastor David graduated from Lander University in December of 1992, and Erskine Theological Seminary in May of 1996. As lifelong residents of South Carolina, the Days consider themselves very blessed to be members of our church and community and are strongly committed to serving its needs with their gifts and graces.
"Theologically, I consider myself to be an Orthodox Evangelical who adheres to the Wesleyan tradition in regards to the Christian faith. I believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God whose purpose is teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instructions for right living, so that every believer may be efficient and equipped for the work of the Lord. I believe that God seeks a close, personal relationship with any and all that is based on unconditional love and offered to us as a free gift through His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. My passion is for winning the world to Christ and building the Kingdom of God through discipleship!"
