From the Pastor at Trinity!
It's All About Love
If the Christmas Season is about love, (and without a doubt it is) then my family is already celebrating one of the most memorable and meaningful ones ever. This is because of the many generous ways through which Trinity has enriched our lives with such a gift. In fact, not a day goes by that the Days dont experience this in some form of blessing or another.
Annie, Elizabeth, Joshua, and myself were reminded of this last Sunday as we hosted many of you at our Christmas Drop-In at the parsonage. (Jonathan would have been too, but he had to work.) And even though many of you were unable to attend, we felt your love, nevertheless. In fact, for as long as we continue to live at 1512 Cardinal Drive, we will feel your love among us in the special way that we do as your pastoral family.
Yes, Christmas is all about love. Its about Gods love for you, me and the rest of the world. To be sure it all started when God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to be born in a manger in Bethlehem. And even though its hard to believe, we are convinced that Christs birth had everything to do with our being at Trinity and being so blessed by such a caring congregation.
Since this is true, we want to say, Thank You, ten thousand times ten thousand, to God and everyone of you who helped make our Drop-In so special! But not only that, Thank You for constantly supporting us and our beloved church with your prayers, presence, gifts and service. You are all very dear to our hearts and we are forever indebted to you and the Lord for being so kind, thoughtful and loving!
May the Lord continue to bless us as we endeavor to become the church He needs us to be this Christmas Season and always. Remembering that its all about Jesus and His love!
In Christ,
Pastor David & Family
