Making Room for More!

It's hard to believe, but we're only two weeks away from Consecration Sunday and the beginning of our Revival. Yet, the clock has been ticking, and it will soon be time for us to renew our covenant to faithfully participate in the ministries of our beloved church. How will each of us respond to God's invitation to pledge our support to Trinity and the mission we have been called to fulfill?

Jesus said, "If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving---large or small---it will be used to measure what is given back to you." (Luke 6:38 NLT) This verse not only deals with the amount of mercy that is expected of the Lord's disciples. It can also apply to their money. Yes, practicing Christian Stewardship faithfully is beneficial, because those who are generous monetarily, as well as mercifully, shall be repaid abundantly.

Only the Lord knows for sure how well we will respond to His invitation to pledge our support to Trinity on Consecration Sunday, but hopefully, we will rise above our commitments in the past and give witness to a faith that has grown to at least the tithing level or beyond. In the meantime, I pray that each of us will "bank" on God's promise to do what only God can do when it comes to our giving and His making room for more of heaven's blessings.

Hope to see you on Sunday, November 12th!

With Love From and For Jesus,

Pastor David
